Charlie Brown Farms

Hard to believe, but Bri and I have been in Littlerock, CA for a week now!  This week has been crazy and uneventful all at the same time.  I wish I could say that we've found awesome jobs and an apartment already, but hopefully next week I can post something like that.

Today, however, I'm posting about Charlie Brown Farms, which is probably the coolest store/restaurant/heaven that I have ever seen in all my life!  This is by the far the greatest thing Littlerock has to offer and I just can't stop singing its praises!

We went the first time with my cousin Mariana, and she introduced us to her favorite thing on their menu:  MINI DONUTS.  Now, these aren't just any ol' mini donut.  These are the most orgasmic donuts you have ever had in your mouth.  If everything good in the world were to be rolled up into one single manifestation, the result would be these donuts.  Just delicious.  If you've ever had a churro, they taste just like that.  But in donut form.  Maybe if you're nice I'll mail you some.

Actually, no.  I'll buy them and then eat them in your honor.

Apart from donuts, they've got killer barbecue; deep fried Oreos, Snickers, and Twinkies; milkshakes; funnel cakes; tummy-aches... everything!  They've also got amazing bottled sodas of all types.  Brian got a lavendar soda and it was to die for.  They've got tons of candy you've never heard of, plus lots of locally made confections or dried fruits or nuts.  There is a huge produce section with fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh honey from local beekeepers, and the prices are very reasonable.

If you don't want food, they've got tons of novelty gifts and toys as well. Need a rubber duck shaped like Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz?  They've got it (with Bruce Lee, too)!  Need a wallet shaped like a piece of toast?  Look no further!  How about an ice cube tray that makes centipede-shaped ice cubes?  Or Hello Kitty bandages?  Or a slutty devil figurine?  Voila!  It's all here at Charlie Brown Farms!

And locals love it.  The first time we went it was a weekday and it wasn't too busy, but the second time?  It was a Saturday night and the place was packed!  We waited for a good forty-five minutes or so to get the boysenberry shake and mini donuts we ordered, but the wait was worth it.  In fact, the wait just gives you ample time to explore the many fun products offered there.  So much fun!

Gosh, I'm really craving one of those donuts right now.
